Fourth of July

Every other minute both girls were asking if it was time for the fireworks. Finally the time arrived and off we went. We grabbed a blanket, snacks, drinks, bug repellent, and found a clear spot at Long Pier Park in Lorain. Seeing fireworks over the lake was amazing, nothing was in our way. There were lots of people there, relieved that the storms never arrived.

Really cute scrapbook page. I love that your whole family was on it! I agree that fireworks over water are the best - it really changes the whole experience. I love to go and watch them at Yorktown, but the traffic is a KILLER!

Glad you are carrying on the tradition. There were fireworks here in Phnom Penh but they were at the Embassy and we didn't see them. We are going to a 4th of July celebration tonight with the other missionary couples. We just went to a Cambodian Wedding. The bride changed several times in the 2 hours that we were with the wedding party. Interesting.

We watched the fireworks on Pine Lake from our own pontoon for the first time. It was great and so were the fireworks.
